Training at FLD

Training by FLD is an investment in you and your horse’s future. Our training programs are tailored toward you and your horse, and we help you set goals for the short and long term. We uphold a balanced business, so David is able to focus on training each horse and rider. Our passion for the art of dressage, connecting with the horse’s mind and sensitivities and providing the best possible education is our goal.

⦁ Full Training We train competitive & classical dressage horses and riders from start through Grand Prix or Haute Ecole and Airs. Full training includes 4-5 times per week where David can include a mix of lessons where you ride your horse.
⦁ Half Training Half training is also available with 3 rides per week.
⦁ Trailer-in Lessons We offer the option of booking trailer-in lessons. Amateurs, juniors, professionals and event riders looking to improve their dressage are welcomed!
⦁ Consignment We offer sales and consignment opportunities on a limited basis. Our networking & marketing sales plans are an excellent option for those who need assistance in selling.
⦁ Show Coaching & Training FLD plans and attends USDF and select breed shows. We provide training and coaching for the competitive rider.
⦁ Clinics David Donnelly is available to travel for clinics several times a year. He has been teaching clinics since 1994 and fantastic at delivering break-throughs you can take home in your everyday riding. Call us for more information.
⦁ Evaluations FLD is available for recommending next steps in the training process or assisting in the purchase of your next horse. We can view videos or travel to evaluate sales horses and provide recommendations for you.
⦁ Support Services FLD has a network of sporthorse vets and farriers, massage and body therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and saddle fitters to support the health of your sporthorse athlete while in training with us.
